This time of year typically sees many of the Friends of Rotary head for their old home bases or holidays, so numbers of expats on the island fall.
However, the reputation of The Pavilion in Lamai brought out many the people who had remained so 48 of us sat down for dinner.
This was President Warunee’s first dinner – but she soon settled into the announcements and even managed to negotiate pink ribbons for the lucky draw prizes.
With Adele and Wally in England, Phil and Michelle took to the registration table, with Warunee passing out
discount vouchers to all for another dinner at the Pavilion – a very nice gesture from the venue.
The meal was a fusion buffet combining Italian and Thai, with a few chocolate deserts and oodles of fruit.
The meal was fantastic with the quality of the food being of the really highest standards.
All of us at Rotary would like to say a big thank you to Khun Chayapa ongchababnapa the Assistant Managing
